Practical Information
The Medical Centre Tahri operates on a “forfait” system, providing care to residents across Belgium.
But we’re more than just a medical centre—we’re also a primary care health observatory, committed to improving the quality of care for our community.
Beyond medical treatments, we have a strong social mission: we guide and support newcomers through the process of registering with a mutual insurance fund, ensuring they can access the healthcare they need.
We work by appointment only, but we’re always here for you in case of emergencies.

How does the forfait plan work?
The forfait system is a three-way agreement between you, the Tahri Medical Centre, and your mutual insurance fund, allowing you to register with our health centre. To join, you must be registered with a mutual insurance fund—but don’t worry, our social worker can help if you’re not already covered.
✅ What’s included in the forfait?
• General medical care
• Nursing care
❌ What’s not included?
•Physiotherapy – You can keep your current physiotherapist and continue receiving reimbursements from your mutual insurance fund.
•Specialists – They are not part of the forfait, so you can keep seeing them as usual.

Once you register by filling out the paper form available at the Tahri Medical Centre, you won’t have to pay for consultations with our general practitioners or nurses—it’s all covered under the forfait system!
However, please remember: all general practitioner consultations must take place at the Tahri Medical Centre.
⚠️ If you see a general practitioner or nurse outside our centre, you will have to pay for the consultation.
Exceptions:
✔️ If you are outside Brussels and need emergency care.
✔️ If a Tahri Medical Centre professional refers you to a general practitioner outside the centre.
